Sanna Marie McQuillian Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Industrial Township, Minnesota Crash on January 30, 2026 Along Highway 33

On January 30, 2026, a two-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 10:15 a.m. on northbound Highway 33 at Industrial Road in Industrial Township, St. Louis County, Minnesota. Authorities reported that a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling in the left lane struck the rear of a 2014 Ford Edge, with both vehicles proceeding northbound at the time of impact. Road conditions were described as dry.

Sanna Marie McQuillian, 61, of Cloquet, was identified as the driver of the Ford Edge and sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash. She was transported to St. Mary’s–Essentia in Duluth for treatment. A passenger in her vehicle, Gary Wayne McQuillian, 61, also of Cloquet, suffered fatal injuries and was taken to the same medical facility. Another passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Jeep was not injured. The incident remains part of the official record for St. Louis County.
