Sarayah Sims Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 61 in Two Harbors, Minnesota – September 27, 2025

On September 27, 2025, a three-vehicle collision occurred on northbound Highway 61 near Stanley Road in Two Harbors, Lake County, Minnesota. A 1997 Honda Prelude, traveling northbound, failed to slow for traffic congestion and rear-ended two stopped vehicles: a 2025 Subaru Forester and a 2013 Kia Sportage. Road conditions were dry at the time of the incident.

Sarayah Rose Sims, an 18-year-old passenger from Duluth in the Honda Prelude, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth. Two other occupants of the Prelude, including the driver, also sustained injuries. No injuries were reported among the occupants of the other vehicles. Emergency services from Lake County Sheriff's Office, Two Harbors Fire Department, Lake County EMS, and the Minnesota DNR responded to the scene.
