Franklin Ross Killed in Guyton, Georgia Vehicle-Cyclist Crash on October 20, 2025

Franklin Ross, age 58, was fatally struck by a pickup truck while riding a three-wheeled pedal cycle on Honey Ridge Road in Guyton, Georgia, on the morning of October 20, 2025. The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office reported that the truck was traveling eastbound when it collided with Ross from behind. Initial investigation indicates that sun glare may have impaired the driver’s visibility, contributing to the collision.
