Tyler Timmons Released from Hospital Following Shooting in Granite City, Illinois – December 13, 2025

On December 13, 2025, Officer Tyler Timmons, a 27-year-old Granite City police officer, was discharged from St. Louis University Hospital after sustaining two gunshot wounds in the line of duty the previous week. The incident occurred near Johnson Road and Carlson Avenue during a response to a report of an unwanted subject.
