Tynisha Plummer Identified in Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash | Shelby County, IL | October 12, 2025

On October 12, 2025, 44-year-old Tynisha Plummer of Windsor, Illinois, was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash in Shelby County. The collision occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Illinois Route 16 near North 950 East Road. According to Illinois State Police, the vehicle, which carried three additional occupants, ran off the roadway and overturned.

Plummer was a passenger in the vehicle and did not survive the crash. The other three occupants were transported to a nearby hospital with injuries of undisclosed severity. Shelby County Coroner Beth Debolt confirmed Plummer’s death on-site. The Illinois State Police have not released further details as the investigation remains ongoing.
