Vincent Boyd Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on US Highway 49 in Poplar Grove, Arkansas on February 13, 2026; One Driver Killed
A two-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 49 in Poplar Grove, Arkansas, on the night of February 13, 2026, left one man dead and another injured. According to the Arkansas State Police crash report, the incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. near 11262 U.S. Highway 49 in Phillips County when a southbound 2014 Hyundai Elantra entered the northbound lane of traffic.
The vehicle subsequently collided with a northbound 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 37-year-old Vincent Boyd of Marvell, Arkansas. Boyd sustained injuries in the crash and was transported to Regional One Medical Center for treatment. Authorities confirmed that the driver of the Hyundai, 68-year-old James Early of Marvell, was killed in the collision. Officials reported that weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the crash. The circumstances surrounding why the southbound vehicle entered the opposite lane remain under investigation.
