William Vaughn Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on U.S. Highway 101 in Diamond Point, Washington – October 10, 2025
On the evening of October 10, 2025, a serious three-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 101 and Diamond Point Road in Clallam County, Washington. According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident began when a 2025 Lexus NX driven by 27-year-old Ronak Ved of Bellevue failed to yield the right of way while attempting to cross the highway. The Lexus was struck by a westbound 2006 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Aaron Warner, 51, of Seattle. Following the initial collision, both vehicles impacted a 2017 Toyota Highlander operated by Laura Oliver, 79, of Sequim. William Vaughn, 78, also of Sequim, was a passenger in the Highlander at the time of the crash.
Both Oliver and Vaughn sustained injuries and were transported to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles for medical evaluation. Ved was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was listed in satisfactory condition. Authorities indicated that Ved may face charges related to driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. All parties involved in the collision were wearing seat belts, and each of the three vehicles was reported to be a total loss.
