Allison and Kyle Hinson Injured in Head-On Collision on State Highway 18

On August 27, 2025, Allison Hinson, 41, and Kyle Hinson, 39, both of Blytheville, Arkansas, were injured in a severe two-vehicle collision on State Highway 18 in rural Mississippi County. According to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred at approximately 6:51 p.m. when a 2025 Nissan Frontier, traveling westbound, crossed the center line and struck their eastbound 2015 Chevy Silverado head-on, causing the Silverado to overturn.

The driver of the Nissan, identified as 61-year-old Julio C. Osorio of Covington, Louisiana, was pronounced dead at the scene. Both Kyle and Allison Hinson were transported to St. Bernard’s Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. Weather and road conditions were reported as clear and dry at the time of the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
