Brenda Estevez Injured in Single-Vehicle Rollover on Highway 99

On April 28, 2025, at approximately 08:54, a single-vehicle accident took place at the intersection of Highway 13 and Highway 99 in Montgomery Township, Le Sueur County, Minnesota. The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a 2000 GMC Sierra, driven by 39-year-old Edgar Ivan Martinez of Montgomery, was traveling westbound on Highway 99 when it lost control on wet roads. The vehicle veered into a ditch and rolled over, resulting in injuries to both occupants.

The driver, Martinez, and his passenger, 40-year-old Brenda Lee Estevez, also of Montgomery, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to New Prague Hospital for treatment. Emergency response teams, including the Le Sueur County Sheriff's Office, Montgomery Fire and Ambulance, and Le Center Ambulance, attended the scene. Authorities have identified wet road conditions as a contributing factor.
