Carmina Ramirez Dies in Plano Motorcycle Crash

On May 3, 2025, a fatal collision occurred in the 3500 block of 14th Street in Plano, Texas, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. The incident, reported at approximately 7:15 p.m., involved a pickup truck and a motorcycle. According to Plano Police, a 33-year-old male driving the pickup truck eastbound on 14th Street attempted to turn northbound onto Del Sol Drive. Simultaneously, a motorcycle operated by 21-year-old Elvin Bonilla, traveling westbound, struck the passenger side of the vehicle. The passenger in the pickup, 58-year-old Carmina Ramirez, and Bonilla sustained severe injuries and were pronounced dead after being transported to a hospital. The pickup truck driver, whose identity remains undisclosed, suffered minor injuries and also received medical attention.

Authorities have noted that speed is believed to have contributed to the crash, though a comprehensive investigation is still underway. No additional information has been provided at this time.
