Casandra Faulhaber Dies from Injuries in Mower County Accident

On April 25, 2025, Casandra Danielle Faulhaber, 36, of Le Roy, Minnesota, was involved in a fatal accident on Highway 63 in Mower County. While driving southbound in a 2017 Kia Sorento near mile marker 27, an object detached from a northbound semi-truck penetrated her windshield and struck her, resulting in severe injuries. The Minnesota State Patrol noted that the semi driver, unaware of the incident, continued northbound but was subsequently identified and located.

Following the accident, Faulhaber was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, where she remained until her death on June 9, 2025. Her passenger, Jerrod Ryan Faulhaber, 35, also of Le Roy, sustained no injuries during the event. Authorities have not released additional information regarding the ongoing investigation into the incident.
