The incident took place around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Kishwaukee Street and Airport Drive, where the driver reportedly struck part of a roundabout.

According to authorities, 30-year-old Alazia Hatchett of Orland Hills was operating the vehicle at the time of the crash. She now faces charges of aggravated DUI involving personal injury or death, as well as reckless homicide.
