Yahye Mohamed Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash on Highway 52 in Rochester, Minnesota – September 15, 2025

On the morning of September 15, 2025, a single-vehicle accident occurred on southbound Highway 52 at 16th Street in Rochester, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the 2014 Dodge Avenger lost control and struck the median barrier. The crash took place under dry road conditions.

Yahye Hasan Mohamed, a 39-year-old passenger from Rochester, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital for medical care. The driver, 23-year-old Mohamed Abukar Ahmed, also of Rochester, was uninjured. Authorities have confirmed that both occupants were wearing seat belts and that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
