Colton Damyanovich Injured in Itasca County Car Accident

On May 24, 2025, at approximately 11:46 PM, a collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 65 and County Road 56 in Northeast Itasca Unorganized Territory, Itasca County, Minnesota. The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a 2018 Ford Explorer, driven by 62-year-old David Bruce Tiovola of Hibbing, Minnesota, was traveling eastbound on County Road 56 and failed to stop at a stop sign, striking a 2012 GMC Sierra moving northbound on Highway 65.

The GMC Sierra’s driver, 18-year-old Maddoux Isiah Erickson of Pengilly, Minnesota, and passenger, 20-year-old Colton Ray Damyanovich of Hibbing, Minnesota, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Hibbing Hospital. Tiovola also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the same facility. All parties were wearing seat belts, and the road conditions were dry at the time of the incident.
