Fatal Accident on Northbound Highway 252 in Brooklyn Park Claims Life of Carlos Holliday
On April 12, 2025, at approximately 7:24 a.m., a tragic incident unfolded on Northbound Highway 252 at Humboldt in Brooklyn Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2017 Chevy Impala, driven by 33-year-old Johnny Lee Houston of Minneapolis, collided with a semaphore at the intersection. The crash occurred under dry road conditions, and the vehicle’s airbags deployed upon impact. Emergency response teams, including the Brooklyn Park Police, Brooklyn Park Fire Department, and North Memorial Ambulance, promptly arrived at the scene to assist.
The passenger, 36-year-old Carlos Chavez Holliday, also from Minneapolis, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene despite wearing his seat belt.
