Fatal Church Bus Crash in Sallisaw Claims Two Lives, Including Young Girl

On April 23, 2025, a devastating accident unfolded in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, as a church bus from The House Church collided with an SUV at the intersection of Iola and Walnut streets. The tragic incident claimed the life of 11-year-old Baylee Coachman, a cherished member of the church community, who was a passenger on the bus returning home. The collision, which occurred due to the SUV driver’s inability to avoid impact, also left several other individuals on the bus injured, requiring immediate hospitalization.
