Fatal Concrete Truck Accident on I-80 in Bureau County Claims Life of Vincent Stuart

On April 25, 2025, a tragic accident occurred on Interstate 80 in Bureau County, Illinois, resulting in the death of 71-year-old Vincent Stuart from Fulton, Illinois. The incident took place around 3 p.m. when a concrete truck, driven by Stuart, rolled over in a construction zone. According to the Illinois State Police, the truck driver drove across milled pavement and caught soft ground on the right shoulder of the westbound lane, causing the vehicle to overturn.

Emergency crews responded promptly to the scene, but unfortunately, Stuart succumbed to his injuries. The Bureau County Coroner has identified the victim, and an autopsy is scheduled to determine the precise cause of death.
