Fatal Head-On Collision in Ector County Claims Lives of Nicholas Gonzalez and Juan Vasquez

On the night of March 8, 2025, a tragic head-on collision occurred in Ector County, Texas, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. The incident took place at approximately 11:37 p.m. at the intersection of East Goldenrod Drive and North Alfalfa Drive, just north of Odessa. The victims were identified as 42-year-old Juan Jesus Vasquez of Longview, driving eastbound in a Dodge Ram, and 34-year-old Nicholas Matthew Gonzalez of Miles, traveling westbound in a Chevrolet Silverado.
