Justin Rodriguez Fatally Struck in South Side San Antonio Crash

On May 15, 2025, at approximately 10:20 p.m., a fatal pedestrian accident occurred on Southwest Military Drive at Garnett in San Antonio, Texas. The victim, identified as 28-year-old Justin Martinez Rodriguez, was struck by a 2025 Yamaha motorcycle while crossing the street outside a designated crosswalk. According to the San Antonio Police Department, the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound when the collision took place. Rodriguez sustained severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that the cause of death was blunt force injuries, and the manner of death was classified as an accident.

The driver of the motorcycle remained at the scene, provided assistance, and fully cooperated with law enforcement during the investigation. Authorities have stated that no charges are pending against the motorcyclist.
