Kyle Neumeister Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on Highway 10

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on May 30, 2025, at 4:49 PM, a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 10 and County Road 75 in Bluffton Township, Otter Tail County, Minnesota. A 2020 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by Daniel Robert Neumeister, 67, of Detroit Lake, MN, was traveling eastbound on Highway 10 when it collided with a 2015 Subaru Forester, driven by Tonnette Rae Haynes, 73, of Glenwood, MN, which was southbound on County Road 75.

All occupants involved in the incident sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Astera Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Subaru, Tonnette Rae Haynes, and the driver and passenger of the Chevrolet Suburban, Daniel Robert Neumeister and Kyle Marie Neumeister, 64, of Detroit Lake, MN, were all wearing seat belts at the time of the collision. Alcohol was not a factor in the incident. The road conditions were dry, and multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Wadena County Sheriff's Office, Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office, New York Mills Police Department, Bluffton Fire Department, Astera Ambulance, and Premier Towing.
