Kylee Boman Injured in Rear-End Collision on Highway 64 in Poplar Township
On August 31, 2025, an 18-year-old driver, Kylee Marie Boman of Isanti, Minnesota, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Poplar Township, Cass County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident occurred on southbound Highway 64 at the intersection of 56th Street Southwest at approximately 5:43 p.m. when Boman’s 2012 Kia Forte was rear-ended by a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado after traffic had slowed to a stop.
Boman and her passenger, 22-year-old Afton Martin Guyer of Otsego, were both transported to Lakewood Health System for treatment. Neither airbags deployed in either vehicle. The occupants of the Chevrolet, including the 16-year-old male driver and two teenage passengers, were not injured. Road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the crash. Alcohol was not a factor in the collision.
