Ray Allan Crenshaw Killed in Shakopee, MN DUI Crash on September 12, 2025

On September 12, 2025, in Shakopee, Minnesota, an elderly man identified as Ray Allan Crenshaw, 83, of Savage, lost his life in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of County Road 18 and Preserve Trail. According to initial reports, Crenshaw was operating an SUV and attempting to turn off Preserve Trail when his vehicle was struck by a northbound pickup truck. The incident occurred shortly before 3 p.m.

The driver of the pickup, a 48-year-old male from Shakopee, was suspected of operating under the influence. Authorities noted a strong odor of alcohol on the driver, and a breath test indicated a blood alcohol level of 0.088%, above Minnesota's legal limit. Crenshaw was transported to St. Francis Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The suspect was taken into custody and held on suspicion of criminal vehicular homicide. Official charges were pending at the time of reporting. The case remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
