Liberty Borg Fatally Injured in Minneapolis Crash at Olson Memorial Highway

At approximately 08:38 AM on September 4, 2025, a fatal motor vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Penn Avenue and Olson Memorial Highway in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The incident involved a 2010 Ford Focus traveling northbound on Penn Avenue and a 2012 Volkswagen Passat traveling westbound on Olson Memorial Highway. The Volkswagen struck the Ford in a T-bone collision within the intersection.

Liberty Borg, a 25-year-old passenger in the Ford Focus, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle, Marisa Ardys Casebolt, also age 25, sustained fatal injuries. A six-year-old male passenger was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
