Mary Parent Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 23 in Arthur Township, MN

On August 31, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 23 and Harbor Street in Arthur Township, Kanabec County, Minnesota. A 2011 Buick Lucerne, traveling northbound on Harbor Street, entered the intersection from a stop sign and collided with a westbound 2007 Ford Freestar on Highway 23. Following the impact, the Ford was pushed off the roadway, striking both a stop sign and a cable junction box. Road conditions at the time of the incident were reported as dry.

Mary Donna Parent, a 92-year-old female passenger in the Buick Lucerne, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Wellia for medical treatment. She was wearing a seat belt, and no alcohol involvement was reported. Emergency services from Ogilvie Fire and Wellia Ambulance responded to the crash scene.
