Matthew Smith Injured in Fatal Car Accident on Four States Fair Parkway in Texarkana

On June 11, 2025, at approximately 5:25 p.m., a fatal car accident occurred on Four States Fair Parkway in Texarkana, Miller County, Arkansas. The collision involved two vehicles: a 1999 Lexus, driven by Marcus Jerome Floyd, aged 36, of Texarkana, and a 2020 Jeep, driven by Matthew Brian Smith, aged 32, also of Texarkana. According to the Arkansas State Police, the Lexus was traveling southbound when it hydroplaned due to rainy conditions, crossed the concrete median, and struck the northbound Jeep head-on.
