Michael Ochoa Injured in Fatal Springdale Car Accident
On July 21, 2025, at approximately 9:39 a.m., a fatal car accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 265 and Highway 412 in Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas. The collision involved a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria and a 2026 Volvo. According to the Springdale Police Department, the Volvo was stopped in traffic when it was rear-ended by the Ford Crown Victoria. Following the impact, the Ford Crown Victoria left the roadway, overturned, and struck a traffic control light.The driver of the Ford Crown Victoria, 45-year-old Steven Daniel Ochoa of Springdale, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was transported to the Washington County Coroner's office. Two passengers in the Ford Crown Victoria, 51-year-old Michael Wayne Ochoa of Springdale and 35-year-old Stephanie Christine Blum of Prairie Grove, sustained injuries and were taken to Washington Regional Medical Center for treatment. The investigating officer, Officer E. Strode of the Springdale Police Department, has not released further details regarding the cause of the accident or the condition of the injured individuals.
