Nora Gill Injured in Newberg Township Car Crash

On August 8, 2025, at approximately 8:45 a.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred east of the intersection of M-60 and Woodlake Road in Newberg Township, Cass County, Michigan. Nora Gill, a 44-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, was driving eastbound on M-60 when her vehicle was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by 19-year-old Logan King of Plainwell, Michigan, who failed to yield to oncoming traffic while turning south into the eastbound lane. Gill sustained injuries and was transported by Newberg Township EMS to Three Rivers Hospital for treatment.The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the incident.
