Rebekah and Joshua Tweten Injured in Mountain Iron Car Accident
On June 14, 2025, at approximately 4:16 PM, a traffic accident occurred in Mountain Iron, Minnesota, involving two vehicles at the intersection of Highway 169 and Campground Road. A 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander, driven by Rebekah Ellen Tweten, 42, of Kinney, Minnesota, was turning south onto Campground Road when it was struck by a northbound 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, driven by Desira Marie Fagan, 26, of Hibbing, Minnesota. The collision resulted in disabling damage to both vehicles.
In the Mitsubishi, Rebekah Tweten and her 14-year-old passenger, Joshua Patrick Tweten, sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while 11-year-old passenger Alissa Fay Tweten was unharmed. In the Jeep, the driver and 44-year-old passenger Mason Dean Arneson were taken to Essentia Health Virginia with non-life-threatening injuries; two other passengers, aged 7 and 4, were uninjured. The Minnesota State Patrol District 3100 Virginia is conducting the investigation.
