Scottie Robertson Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Illinois Highway 15 Near Fairfield

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred at the Boyleston Crossroads west of Fairfield, Illinois. According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, 66-year-old Scottie R. Robertson of McLeansboro was traveling westbound on Illinois Highway 15 in a 2025 Chevrolet Trax when a 2022 Ford truck, driven by 29-year-old Logan Belcher of Harrisburg, failed to stop at the intersection and struck Robertson’s vehicle.

Scottie Robertson and his passenger, 68-year-old Diana Robertson, sustained injuries and were transported to Fairfield Memorial Hospital ER by Wayne County EMS for medical evaluation. Belcher declined treatment at the scene and was cited for failure to obey a stop sign. The investigation is ongoing.
