Seinu Calderon Injured in Pipestone County Car Accident

On July 23, 2025, at approximately 4:50 p.m., a 2016 Volkswagen Golf traveling westbound on MNTH 30 near 60th Avenue in Sweet Township, Pipestone County, Minnesota, entered a ditch. The passenger, Seinu Calderon, a 37-year-old female from Pipestone, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Pipestone County Medical Center for treatment. The driver, Angel Luis Alvarez, a 35-year-old male from Pipestone, was uninjured. Both occupants were wearing seat belts, and the vehicle’s airbags deployed. The incident occurred under dry road conditions, and the Pipestone County Sheriff's Office, Pipestone Ambulance, and Pipestone Fire Department responded to the scene.
