Stephanie Blum Injured in Fatal Springdale Car Accident

On July 21, 2025, at approximately 9:39 a.m., a fatal car accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 265 and Highway 412 in Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas. The collision involved a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria and a 2026 Volvo. According to the Arkansas State Police, the Volvo was stopped in traffic when it was rear-ended by the Ford. Following the impact, the Ford left the roadway, overturned, and struck a traffic control light. Stephanie Christine Blum, a 35-year-old resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, was a passenger in the Ford Crown Victoria. She sustained injuries in the accident and was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center for medical treatment. The driver of the Ford, 45-year-old Steven Daniel Ochoa of Springdale, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger, 51-year-old Michael Wayne Ochoa of Springdale, was also injured and taken to the same medical facility. The investigating officer, Officer E. Strode of the Springdale Police Department, has not released further details regarding the cause of the accident or the condition of the injured individuals.
