Stephen Hummel Injured in Austin, Minnesota Motorcycle Accident

On the morning of September 2, 2025, Stephen Hummel, a 72-year-old resident of Austin, Minnesota, was injured in a motorcycle accident involving a Ram 1500 pickup truck. The collision occurred at approximately 9:45 a.m. at the intersection of Fourth Street NW and Seventh Avenue NW. The pickup truck, traveling northbound on Fourth Street NW, attempted a left turn and struck Hummel’s motorcycle. As a result, Hummel was pinned in the crash and hospitalized with a head injury. The incident is currently under investigation by local law enforcement.
