Kathryn Good Killed in Fatal Scooter Collision in Oregon, Illinois – October 5, 2025
On October 5, 2025, 68-year-old Kathryn Good of Streamwood, Illinois, was killed in a fatal scooter crash in rural Oregon, Illinois. According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, Good was operating a 2018 Yamaha SMAX scooter eastbound on W. Pines Road when a 2017 Ford F-150, driven by 54-year-old Jason Sweazy of Chicago, turned in front of her while entering a private drive. Good collided with the rear quarter panel of the truck.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not announced any charges at this time, and the crash remains under investigation. No further injuries were reported.
