Abdullahi Hassan Involved in St. Cloud, Minnesota Intersection Crash on December 1, 2025

On December 1, 2025, a multivehicle collision occurred at the intersection of 7th Avenue North and 2nd Street North in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Abdullahi Hassan, 35, was driving south on 7th Avenue with a green light when his Ford Fusion was struck by a westbound vehicle operated by 79-year-old Terry Matson, who ran a red light. Hassan’s vehicle was propelled into the northeast corner of the Stearns County Administration Building, sustaining significant damage, while the building itself remained structurally intact.

Despite the severity of the crash, both drivers declined medical attention at the scene. Matson received a citation for failing to obey a traffic signal. The incident remains under review by local authorities to determine additional contributing factors.
