Anthony S. Evans Killed in Longview, Washington Crash on SR-432 Near Memorial Park Drive – January 19, 2026

Anthony S. Evans, 28, of Kelso, Washington, died in a single-vehicle crash on January 19, 2026, along State Route 432 in Longview. The collision occurred at approximately 4:51 p.m. near Memorial Park Drive. According to the Washington State Patrol, a white 2008 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling westbound when it approached a curve, continued forward, left the roadway, and overturned into a nearby slough.

Evans, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene along with the driver, 58-year-old John D. Rodriguez, also of Kelso. Authorities reported that speed was considered a likely factor in the crash. It remains unclear whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the incident. The fatal rollover closed part of SR-432 as troopers examined the scene and documented the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
