Bijan Vaziri Killed in Lincolnshire, Illinois Pedestrian Crash on November 4, 2025

A fatal pedestrian collision occurred on the evening of November 4, 2025, on Milwaukee Avenue near Knightsbridge Parkway in Lincolnshire, Illinois. According to police, emergency personnel responded shortly after 5:15 p.m. and discovered 81-year-old Bijan Vaziri unresponsive in the roadway. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts by first responders and bystanders, Vaziri was pronounced dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation determined that a southbound Dodge Durango, driven by a 58-year-old Prospect Heights resident, struck Vaziri as he attempted to cross the street. The driver remained on-site and cooperated with authorities. Initial findings indicate that impairment does not appear to have been a factor, and chemical test results are pending.
