Two-Vehicle Crash Near Tower, Minnesota Involving Jordan Gall – November 4, 2025

On November 4, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 169 and County Road 77 in Vermilion Lake Township, near Tower, Minnesota. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the crash took place around 4 p.m. when a vehicle driven by 74-year-old Linda Sue Johnson of Ely attempted to turn north onto Highway 169 from County Road 77. Her vehicle was struck on the side by a southbound vehicle driven by Jordan Edward Gall, age 40, of Blaine, Minnesota.

Johnson sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, while Gall suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Essentia Health in Virginia. According to authorities, Johnson was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, whereas Gall was not. Road conditions were dry, and traffic in the area was temporarily detoured following the incident. Responding agencies included the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, Tower Fire Department, Virginia Fire Department, and LifeLink air medical services.
