Bryan K. Parker Injured in Head-On Crash on U.S. Highway 49 in Greene County, Arkansas on February 14, 2026; One Driver Killed

A head-on collision along U.S. Highway 49 in rural Greene County, Arkansas, on February 14, 2026, resulted in one fatality and left two others injured. The crash occurred at approximately 5:27 p.m. near 5360 U.S. Highway 49 when a northbound 2007 Cadillac crossed the center line into southbound traffic and collided with an oncoming 2019 Kia.

Authorities identified the driver of the Kia as 47-year-old Bryan K. Parker of Brookland, Arkansas. Parker sustained injuries and was transported to Arkansas Methodist Medical Center for treatment. A passenger in the same vehicle, 47-year-old Ashley D. Allen of Brookland, was also injured and taken to the hospital. The driver of the Cadillac, identified as 58-year-old Melissa A. Alsup of Paragould, was pronounced dead following the crash. Officials reported that the weather was cloudy but road conditions were dry at the time of the collision. The incident remains under review by Arkansas State Police.
