Fatal Baker County Crash Claims Lives of Sierra Underwood, Martin Cosby, and Richard Dollar in Newton, Georgia on October 13, 2025

A collision in Baker County resulted in the deaths of four individuals early on October 12, 2025, according to the Georgia State Patrol. Troopers reported that the vehicle, traveling west along Clear Lake Road in Newton, crossed the center line before leaving the roadway, striking an embankment, and colliding with a tree. The impact was described as severe, and all occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.

The deceased were identified as 23-year-old Sierra Underwood of Sylvester, 19-year-old Martin Cosby of Camilla, and 22-year-old Richard Dollar of Newton, along with the driver, 22-year-old William Cosby. The Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team continues to examine the circumstances leading to the crash as part of an ongoing investigation.
