Fatal Parkin, Arkansas Plane Crash Claims Lives of Stanley Mitchell and Michael Montgomery on October 8, 2025

Authorities confirmed that a plane crash near Parkin, Arkansas resulted in three fatalities on October 6, 2025. The Cessna 210B, traveling from New Orleans to Jonesboro, lost radar contact with Memphis Air Traffic Control before being located hours later in a marshy area south of Highway 306. Responding agencies included the Arkansas State Police, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center.

The victims were identified as pilot Bob Clark Bolton Jr. of Heber Springs and passengers Stanley Mitchell and Michael Montgomery, both of Jonesboro. Federal investigators from the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board continue to examine the scene as they work to determine the cause of the crash.
