James Litwin Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 95 in May Township, MN – October 8, 2025
On October 8, 2025, a serious three-vehicle collision occurred on northbound Highway 95 near Mile Marker 97 in May Township, Washington County, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a southbound 2006 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Lori Jean Damkaer crossed the center line into the northbound lanes, striking a 2020 Subaru Forester operated by 70-year-old James Alan Litwin of Marcell, MN. Immediately following the initial impact, a 2019 Buick Encore, driven by Jill Mary Mack, also collided with the Subaru.
James Litwin and Lori Damkaer both sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to Regions Hospital for emergency care. Jill Mack was not injured. Road conditions were dry at the time, and no alcohol involvement was reported. Emergency responders from Washington County, Stillwater Fire, Lakeview EMS, and LifeLink assisted at the scene. The incident remains under investigation by state authorities.
