Fatal Pedestrian Collision Involving Terra Hicks in Johnston County, Oklahoma on October 7, 2025

Authorities in Johnston County reported a fatal pedestrian collision on the night of October 7, 2025, along U.S. Highway 177 near Foster Road, south of Mannsville. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 27-year-old Terra Hicks of Oklahoma City was in the roadway when she was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by a man from Kenefic. Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene, and both lanes of the highway were temporarily closed as investigators worked to document the incident.

No additional injuries were reported, and officials have not released further details about the circumstances that led to Hicks being in the roadway. The incident remains under review as authorities continue to evaluate contributing factors and compile their findings.
