Joshua Cain Injured in T-Bone Collision at Highway 169 and Forest Street in Buhl, Minnesota – September 26, 2025

On September 26, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 169 and Forest Street in Buhl, located in St. Louis County, Minnesota. The incident involved a 2019 Ram 1500, operated by 36-year-old Joshua Brandon Cain of Virginia, and a 2009 Pontiac G6 driven by 32-year-old Amber Maree Brunetti of Hibbing. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the Pontiac G6 was attempting to access a gas station from the median when it was struck on the side by the southbound Ram 1500.

Both vehicles came to rest in the median after the impact. Airbags were deployed in both vehicles. Joshua Cain sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Fairview Medical Center for treatment. Amber Brunetti was also injured and taken to the same facility. Road conditions at the time were reported as dry, and no alcohol involvement was noted. Local law enforcement agencies, including the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and Chisholm Police Department, responded to the scene.
