Kianna Skalicky Injured in Rice County Two-Vehicle Collision, Minnesota on November 9, 2025

On November 9, 2025, Kianna Lynn Skalicky, an 18-year-old from West Concord, Minnesota, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Minnesota Highway 60 near Fosston Avenue in Warsaw Township, Rice County. The incident involved a 2013 Ford Escape, driven by 39-year-old Ashley Marie Bright of Morristown, and a 2023 Ford F350 operated by 59-year-old Donald Alexander Steele of Janesville. Both vehicles were traveling eastbound when the collision occurred under dry road conditions.

Emergency responders, including Rice County CSO, Morristown Fire Department, and North Ambulance, attended the scene. Skalicky was transported to District One Hospital for evaluation and treatment, while the drivers were also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The Minnesota State Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
