On the evening of September 28, 2025, a fatal motorcycle crash occurred in Ferndale, Washington. The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that 20-year-old Malakhi Moreau of Ferndale was pronounced dead at the scene after a collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle at the intersection of Mountain View and Olson Roads at approximately 7:15 p.m.

According to official reports, two occupants of the vehicle were seriously injured and transported to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center.
