On October 9, 2025, a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 near Ellensburg resulted in multiple injuries, according to the Washington State Patrol. Authorities reported that 22-year-old Andrew Egger of Yakima was driving a sedan at speeds exceeding 90 miles per hour when troopers attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Egger allegedly attempted to evade law enforcement, swerving to avoid spike strips and colliding with an SUV driven by 52-year-old Shannon Clark of Bellingham.
The collision left 20-year-old Milana Luisi, a passenger in Egger’s vehicle, with serious injuries requiring transport to Kittitas Valley Hospital. Shannon Clark and her passengers, 47-year-old April Clark and a 14-year-old boy, sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene. Egger and a three-year-old boy suffered minor injuries before Egger was taken into custody on multiple felony charges, including vehicular assault, reckless endangerment, and felony eluding.
