Patricia Lane and Larry Dellinger Injured in Rear-End Crash on West McCord Street in Centralia, Illinois on December 4, 2025
Patricia Lane, 68, of Sandoval, and her passenger, Larry Dellinger, 65, also of Sandoval, were injured in a two-vehicle traffic collision Thursday afternoon, December 4, 2025, in Centralia, Illinois. According to Centralia Police, the crash occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m. on West McCord Street in front of the Casey’s General Store.
Authorities stated that Lane was traveling westbound and had slowed in preparation to turn into the business when her vehicle was struck from behind by a second car driven by a 29-year-old Centralia resident. Both Patricia Lane and Larry Dellinger were transported by ambulance to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries. The driver of the second vehicle declined medical treatment, and a child passenger was reported uninjured. The incident remains documented as a rear-end collision, with police issuing a citation related to failure to reduce speed.
