Ryan Winiecki Injured in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 270 West in Magnet Cove, Arkansas on January 8, 2026

Ryan Winiecki, 18, of Hot Springs, was injured Thursday afternoon in a fatal two-vehicle collision on Highway 270 West in Magnet Cove, Arkansas. The crash occurred at approximately 3:26 p.m. when a westbound Cadillac crossed the center line and struck an eastbound Buick, according to state authorities. Following the impact, the Buick left the roadway and overturned under wet road conditions.

One occupant of the Buick, identified as 43-year-old Jeri Winiecki of Hot Springs, was pronounced dead. Ryan Winiecki, who was riding as a passenger in the same vehicle, sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Four additional individuals in the Cadillac also suffered injuries. The Arkansas State Police continue to investigate the collision as next-of-kin notifications have been completed.
