Taariq Conner Killed in Rollover Crash on I-530 in Jefferson County, AR – October 9, 2025

On October 9, 2025, a fatal single-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 530 southbound near mile marker 26 in rural Jefferson County, Arkansas. According to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, a 2009 Toyota Camry traveling southbound left the roadway, over-corrected, and began to spin clockwise before overturning multiple times. The driver and one passenger were ejected during the incident.

Taariq Conner, an 18-year-old from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was identified as the driver and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Three passengers—Caleb Winfield, 19, of Fort Worth; Jatwan Wells, 20, of Pine Bluff; and Caleb Isabel, 20, of Memphis—sustained injuries and were transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center for treatment. Weather and road conditions were reported as clear and dry at the time of the crash. The investigation is being conducted by Trooper Jacob Garcia of the Arkansas State Police.
